No Question Whatsoever

Let us say, for the sake of argument, that the Mexican government was sponsoring training camps for terrorists just over our border, and that said terrorists were infiltrating the United States, blowing up bridges, terrorizing the population, and behaving in general like lawless scum.
Would anyone* raise an eyebrow if a few F-16s bombed the crap out of said training camps?
Of course not.
Yet when John Bolton suggests that we should bomb training camps in Iran, camps whose sole function is to funnel trained terrorists into Iraq and cause mayhem and spread terror…
Oh my goodness, can’t have that.
My real question is simply this: why the hell haven’t we bombed these camps out of existence already?
And I’m not interested in hearing the foreign policy nuances and all that jive. Iran is training terrorists to kill Iraqis and, insh’Allah, American soldiers as well.
That we have not yet bombed these bastards to extinction is a searing indictment of the United States Government’s weakness, pusillanimity and fearfulness.
Bah.
