Brno rifles (later to become CZ) have always been known for their quality and looks, and this Model 21 is no exception.
In fact, this little carbine has pretty much all the features I love in a rifle: full-length ("Mannlicher") stock; double set triggers; a silky-smooth bolt action; quality manufacture, and a manly chambering.
This particular rifle was made in the Czech Brno factory shortly after WWII, and a close-up of the action does not make me want it any less.
It’s on sale at Collectors for $1,495—and even though expensive, this is a rifle which would never let you down, or cause your hunting buddies to snigger at you. (Extreme envy, however, is practically guaranteed.)
I hate being poor…
